From Liberia International Airport, CR, it's about an hour and a half to the wedding venue.

What's the deal with COVID and Costa Rica?

For vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals traveling to Costa Rica, you must check out the below travel requirements. For those who are vaccinated, be prepared to bring your vaccination card with you on your travels, and prior to visiting the airport, be sure to get your "Health Pass" :https://salud.go.cr/ Those traveling without vaccination will be required to carry travel insurance. Will you be requiring a negative COVID test to be able to attend the wedding?

Answer

Because our venue is outside, we will be asking our guests to use their best judgement. If you are feeling sick leading up to the event, or feeling sick the day of, we ask that you take a rapid test to confirm that you do not have COVID. If you are unable to do so, we kindly request that you refrain from attending. For all other guests, we ask you to be mindful as you travel, so as to limit your ability to expose friends and family at the wedding. I personally will be bringing some at-home COVID tests to take to Costa Rica, should anyone need them. You can always WhatsApp me at +19145228230.

How do I get a COVID test before my flight back home?

Answer

Hacienda Penilla has a clinic on premises with staff that can come to your rental property to give you an in-home COVID test. These tests run about $150 US dollars. To schedule your appointment on the day before your departure, call the Hacienda Penilla Clinic at +50626814454
