In December of 2017, our mutual friend (now one of our bridesmaids) set us up to go on a first date. By January, we were boyfriend and girlfriend. Jonas joined the Marine Corps soon after. They sent each other letters and stayed in touch through FaceTime as he was deployed to Japan, Korea, and the Philippines. He came home and now we’re ready to spend forever together.
