We're married, and it’s time to celebrate with you!

On Dec 4, 2022, the first WhatsApp notification was received. Fast forward to 2023 to the first date over dinner, which, knowing us, was naturally awkward. Somehow the awkwardness clicked and weeks later, the guy surprised the girl at her front door with a birthday cake, flowers, and a handwritten letter. This was followed by numerous more virtual dates and trips from South Carolina to Michigan, with phone battery crashes and flight delays at seemingly every turn. Still our connection could neither be interrupted nor grounded, and before we knew it we were comfortable exchanging those magical three words, ‘my stomach’s growling’. It was at that point (and probably after exchanging ‘I love you’ too) that we became engaged. The guy surprised the girl again, this time with a ring, afloat the Detroit Princess Riverboat under fireworks. The groom-to-be eventually also received a ring, engraved ‘Ramya & Manoj ~ 07/14’. And on 07/14, we were married in the presence of family and friends at the courthouse in a simple but memorable ceremony. We are now eager to create more memories with all of our beloved family and friends. Let’s continue the celebration on 10/21, over an evening of dinner, drinks, and dancing!
