Parking near Lighthouse Park

Visitor parking is available at the Motorgate Parking Garage and metered short-term parking is available on Main Street. Motorgate is the central parking facility on the Island. It is open 24 hours a day and accessible via the first right hand turn after coming across the Roosevelt Island Bridge. Motorgate Parking Garage: 688 Main St, New York, NY 10044 Metered parking: In effect from 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday through Saturday on Roosevelt Island To get to the Picnic, either take the free Roosevelt Island Bus (the closest bus stop to Motorgate Parking Garage is Main St/Post Office, next to the Foodtown) or walk north to the tip of the island.
