What airport should I fly into?

Answer

We recommend arriving through George Bush Intercontinental Airport or William P. Hobby Airport. Both are convenient, but choose whichever works best for your route.

Will travel be busy because of the World Cup?

Answer

Yes!!! Houston is hosting the Final 16 FIFA World Cup 2026 match the day after the wedding so flights and car rentals may book quickly. Please plan ahead when arranging your travel.

Is there a hotel room block?

Answer

Yes! We’ve secured a room block for our guests. Please book early, as rooms are limited and last day to book in June 12th, 2026. The booking link and details are available on the Travel page.

Should I rent a car?

Answer

If you plan to rent a car, please book as early as possible due to World Cup demand. We have also tried to keep all venues as close as possible, however the Nikkah is a bit further away so please keep that in mind when considering a rental.

What about Uber/Lyft?

Answer

Uber and Lyft will be available, but wait times may be slightly longer during peak World Cup traffic. We recommend budgeting a little extra time for rides.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Nikkah: All guests are kindly asked to wear white. Because the ceremony will be held at a masjid, we request modest attire for both men and women. Mehndi & Baraat: Guests are welcome to wear any colors or styles they like, as long as outfits remain modest. If you’re unsure about what to wear, feel free to reach out we’re happy to help!
