Jessica and Billy met through a mutual friend (shout out to Chris Blazer) at a music event in Nashville called Live on the Green.

After 3+ years of dating Jessica was trying to figure out a way to bring up the possibility of marriage. Little did she know that Billy had been planning to propose on a spring break trip with Hayden since October 2019. Well, COVID-19 had different plans and that trip was cancelled. Shortly after that cancellation, Billy's yearly trip to Vegas, scheduled for June 2020, was also cancelled. To cheer Billy up, Jessica made hand drawn signs of various Vegas attractions. She told him that she had a gift for him. Since he couldn't go to Vegas she would bring Vegas to him and began hanging them up around their apartment. Deciding that this was the moment he'd been waiting for, since his initial proposal plans had been cancelled, Billy went and grabbed the ring. He came out of the bedroom and said, "I have a gift for you too." He got down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
