We met through mutual friends. We never imagined that we would have fallen this much in love. This started off as a long distance fling. She was in Miami, FL and I lived in Connecticut. Sometimes you wish for the best but there are situations you can't control and can't prevent. So we strived for the greater. She became my rock. She fulfilled my voids. She became the friend I needed when I was in the most vulnerable time of my life. We built a friendship grounded by trust, love, honesty, and openness. Late 2015 and beginning 2016 we started making plans on seeing more of each other, the distance was never an issue for us. We made ourselves available to one another every chance we got. A friendship that became a relationship, a relationship we both cherish and admire because of the foundation it was built on. She became my rock and I became hers. December 14, 2019, in front of friends and family, I proposed to the woman of my dreams. My bestfriend. She said yes. On July 24th, 2020, we will share our vows of love, admiration and affection for each other.
