Our love story began back in 2012 at Saint Leo University in the Sweetwater apartments on Happy Hill Road. From the moment we met, there was an instant connection, and what started as a friendship quickly turned into a relationship. We dated for almost two years, but as often happens in young relationships, life threw us some challenges—things beyond our control—and we eventually went our separate ways. Even though we parted, Tyler never gave up. Over the next decade, he reached out again and again, proving that he wasn’t ready to let go. I, on the other hand, wasn’t sure what that meant for Tyler and I. Although we did go on a date here and there during those 10 years. Things just never aligned. Finally, in 2023, I felt God’s timing was right, and I decided to give him another chance. Boy was he happy! Our first date after reconnecting was unforgettable. Tyler invited me and my family to Streamsong for a day of golfing, clay shooting, and fishing—on him, of course! It was the perfect way to reconnect, and I felt that God was guiding us back together in a way that felt natural. From there, things just kept falling into place. A few months later, Tyler flew me out to Boston for a Bruins game, and while we were there, he asked me to officially be his girlfriend. Not long after, during a trip to Jet Blue Park where the Red Sox spring train, Tyler proposed. And yes, I said yes! Though, I have to admit, there’s a small part of me that wonders if his decision to propose at a Red Sox event was a bit of a sneaky tactic to win me over. He’s *definitely* not a Red Sox fan, but deep down, I think God knew the only way to win my heart for good was for him to embrace my love for the team. He secretly loves Boston sports. And of course, I love Tyler no matter what—*even* though he supports a different sports team from every state. I can’t help but laugh at his ever-changing team allegiances, but hey, it’s one of the quirks that makes him…well, him! Also, as much as he likes to think he’s a pro on the golf course, let’s just say his game isn’t exactly as “elite” as he thinks. But, I love him for all of it. Through all the ups and downs, we've leaned on God’s guidance and support, knowing that He has brought us back together for a reason. With Him at the center of our marriage, we know we can face anything—no matter how many teams Tyler decides to root for or how many swing tips he asks for!i #ramsdelleverafter
