FAQs

Question

Is everyone invited to the wedding ceremony?

Answer

Our ceremony will be an intimate gathering, with only a select few guests joining us for this special moment. While we wish we could include everyone, we're keeping our ceremony small and personal.

Question

Will this be a traditional wedding?

Answer

Our wedding will be a laid-back, contemporary celebration that breaks from traditional wedding norms. Starting at 4:00pm, our reception will feature delectable cuisine served from 4:30pm and available throughout the evening. We've opted for open seating, allowing guests to select their tables and enjoy the festivities at their leisure. We kindly ask that guests arrive no earlier than 4:00pm, as we'll be traveling directly from the ceremony location.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our reception will take place at a ranch, so we invite you to dress comfortably and express your personal style. Gentlemen can opt for well-fitted jeans paired with boots and a crisp button-up, or elevate the look with cocktail attire. Ladies are welcome to choose an outfit that makes them feel confident and celebration-ready, with one simple request: please avoid wearing white.

Question

Do we have a registry?

Answer

Yes, we have created a registry with meaningful ways to support our journey. Instead of a traditional honeymoon, we are kindly asking for contributions to our IVF fund to help us start our family. We've also curated a small registry of items that will help us create and renovate our dream home together. 🏡 If you still want to contribute in a different way, we’d enjoy gift cards to your favorite stores/restaurants or tickets to baseball games. We enjoy the Sacramento River Cats games, A’s, and the SF Giants.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

To ensure we can comfortably host all our cherished guests, we've already included plus ones for those we know will be bringing a guest. If you're interested in bringing a plus one, please contact us to discuss availability.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome to attend our wedding celebration. With that said, we know a night off can be nice, so feel free to make it a date night if you prefer. Please be sure to include them when you RSVP. If we accidentally missed adding one of your children, please let us know, and we'll happily update your family's invitation.

Question

Are you having Mexican traditions?

Answer

During our wedding, we'll celebrate our heritage by incorporating two cherished Mexican traditions. First is La Vibora Del Mar, a playful ritual where we'll stand on chairs and create an arch with our veil while guests form a lively "snake" by holding hands and dancing in a congo line. The spirited goal is for guests to attempt breaking our arch by trying to knock us off our chairs—though we'll have supportive friends nearby to help maintain our balance. This tradition beautifully symbolizes our unity and shared commitment to facing life's challenges together. We'll also feature the Baile Del Billete, or Money Dance, where guests can pin money to our clothing in exchange for a brief, personal dance. This tradition represents community support, wishes for good fortune, and provides a special moment of connection between us and our loved ones.

Question

Hotel stays

Answer

If you are planning on spending the night in a hotel, I do not have any hotel blocks but strongly recommend staying in either Lathrop, Manteca, or Lodi for the best experience.
