It's your classic LEO and EMT scenario. I guess you can say that we met in the tame streets of Boston on the night tour or in the back of the ambulance, they are equally accurate. We both have the same story for the most part, but depending who you ask, the most important part is told two different ways. During another call that we did together, Josh made sure that he was in the back of the ambulance with me during the trip to the hospital. I had joked around with him on previous calls that the police really had to stop calling EMS for their cleanups. This call was no different, I told him that he needed to stop calling EMS. He, very smoothly, replied "how else am I supposed to see you?" Boy was I smitten. After I dropped off the patient in the emergency room, I wrote him a very clever note: "Now you don't have to call EMS to talk to me" with my number on it. I confidently walked over to him, handed it off, and walked away. And the rest was history.
