We met in high school during our sophomore year in 2014. We had first period English literature together. We became friends until junior year and formed a group of friends in our art class. It wasn't until our senior year that we began to have feelings for each other, and Anthony made his move at prom! He asked me to dance, and he did not let me go the rest of the night! It was probably my dance moves :) A week later, he asked me to be his girlfriend, and we have been happily together since!

When I left for the Marines, I did not know what to expect for our relationship or where it was going to go, but I did know that I needed her in my life and that she needed me in hers. Those were the toughest four years of my life, but if it weren't for God and Jasmine, I wouldn't have been able to finish. We would see each other for a week out of the year, and having to go back would be so difficult for us both. Our relationship functioned because of love, trust, communication, and PlayStation (Apex). I would be lying if I told you it was easy, but it was worth it. It made our bond unbreakable and our love so much stronger. I came back broken, and she pieced me together. That's how I knew that she's the one for me, my missing puzzle piece, the only person who makes me feel whole. She's the love of my life.
