Our Story

Est. 6/11/2010

Some love stories begin with grand gestures. Ours began in the hallways of freshman year, somewhere between PE, English class, and afternoons spent at the library pretending to study (or at least trying to). Before we were boyfriend and girlfriend, we were best friends—bonded by classic rock, endless laughter, and a shared love for Led Zeppelin, especially the song D’yer Mak’er. Somewhere along the way, one conversation about music (“My dad loves this band!”) turned into a friendship neither of us could imagine life without. By the summer after freshman year, friendship became something more, and from then on, we rarely did life apart. We went to every school dance together, even ran for Prom King and Queen. As the years passed, we grew up side by side—through college, new careers, moments of joy, heartbreak, family loss, and life’s unexpected challenges. In every season, we found strength in one another, becoming not only partners but home to each other. Together, we built a life we once only dreamed of—buying our first home, learning how to be dog parents to our sweet Beto, and discovering that love is often found in the little things: laughter after long days, support in hard moments, and choosing one another again and again. Through faith, family, and a love that somehow feels both timeless and wonderfully silly, we are so grateful to begin our next chapter and become one in marriage, surrounded by the people we love most.
