For years, we lived just down the street from each other and even attended the same high school, yet our paths never crossed. Toward the end of 2019, when I happened to be outside my house and saw Ramon walking his dog. I asked if I could pet her, and we struck up a short conversation. Little did I know that brief moment would lead to him messaging me on social media and ultimately changing my life. We built a friendship that soon grew into something more as we realized we had feelings for one another. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. Over the years, we’ve faced both ups and downs, always standing by each other’s side and lifting one another up.
