Can I have a plus-one?
Answer
Your RSVP will indicate if you are able to bring a plus-one. Due to reception space restrictions, we were unable to give everyone a plus-one.

Is it okay to post photos on social media?
Answer
Absolutely on Instagram Stories or Snapchat stories, please refrain from posting photos of the actual wedding day until we do :)

Is there parking available near your wedding venues?
Answer
For the ceremony space, there are designated parking spaces available around the Cathedral. If the cathedral parking spaces are full, there is ample street parking nearby. You may also park in the VCU Main St. parking deck, but there is a cost involved. Designated spots are directly outside the cathedral and posted on signs. For the reception there is a lot on site to hold up to 200 cars! Parking attendants will also be available for parking support.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony will be indoors while the reception will be primarily outdoors. There are indoor areas for people to rest and cool off in during the reception.

What is the dress code?
Answer
For the ceremony, please dress either modestly or in church attire. For the reception, you are welcome to come in Garden Cocktail attire. We highly encourage bright, Spring colors! There will be time between the Ceremony and Reception to allow you to change if wanted.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
We have a hotel block on the Travel tab of the website with a hotel nearby the reception at a discounted rate. We recommend staying in Glen Allen if you would like to be close to the reception or the Monroe Ward neighborhood in downtown Richmond if you would like to be close to the ceremony. Feel free to book anywhere that you like.
