FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Question

Who is getting married?

Answer

Rami Lev Grossman and Melissa Anne Martel

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Yes, it is right here on the Zola page! Please see the above tab labeled “Registry.” All registry items are cash funds because our current domicile is tiny, and we do not have any more space for physical objects. In-person gifts will NOT be accepted unless they are delicious.

Question

Where is the wedding located?

Answer

The Corry House 6641 Union Point Hwy, Union Point, GA 30669 https://www.thecorryhouse.com/ PLEASE USE GPS FOR "THE CORRY HOUSE" RATHER THAN THE NUMERIC ADDRESS TO AVOID GETTING LOST. THE VENUE IS MARKED BY A LARGE WHITE SIGN AND SHOULD BE OBVIOUS. Ceremony will be outdoors in the "Enchanted Forest" site. From the parking area, walk up the gravel pathway to the left of the Main House (the big white one). Up this pathway, you will see our Welcome station to help guide you in the right direction. Continue following the pathway to the left toward the Forest ceremony site. There will be signs and black torches along the way to help guide you. Don't worry - it'll all seem obvious when you see it in person. Cocktail hour & Reception will be in the big red barn and its surrounding patios/lawns. Really, you can't miss it - it's bright red.

Question

What do you mean "outdoors" ??

Answer

Yes. The ceremony portion is outdoors, in a forest. The bride really likes trees. RAIN: If it rains, then both ceremony and reception will take place inside the covered, climate-controlled Barn space. Bringing an umbrella is encouraged *just in case.* INSECTS: Bug repellant with deet will be offered to all guests at our Welcome station. However, every guest is still encouraged to plan for their own individual needs/allergies. RESTROOMS: Restrooms are located in the red Barn, in the Main House, and the Carriage House (the grey building next to the red barn). There are NO restrooms at the Forest Ceremony Site. Please keep this in mind before settling into your seats.

Question

What is the weather like in Georgia?

Answer

The average temperature for Union Point, GA in May is 61-81 F. It's actually the most beautiful time of year for the state of GA. That being said, we are in the South, so there is always a chance that it will rain. Here is a link to local weather predictions for our venue: https://weather.com/weather/tenday/l/30669:4:US Please plan accordingly.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal. Suits, gowns, and cocktail dresses are all acceptable. NOTE ABOUT FOOTWEAR: Please wear comfortable, sturdy shoes that will allow you to walk short distances on both dirt and grass!! Also, bear in mind that you will be encouraged to dance in whatever shoes you bring.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Unless otherwise instructed, please arrive at 4:30 pm on Saturday May 3rd, 2025. The ceremony will begin at 5:00 pm.

Question

What's the parking situation?

Answer

Unlimited parking spaces on grass lawns near the entrance to the property. To find the property from Union Point Hwy, look for white Corry House sign at the main entrance. Drive up the long tree-lined driveway. Parking lots are the grassy areas to the LEFT of this driveway (when facing the main house). You may use the roundabout at the top of this driveway for unloading, however please do not park in the roundabout as it will block incoming traffic for our other guests. There will be an on-site coordinator to assist with parking.

Question

How will mobility issues be handled?

Answer

We want you to feel welcomed and comfortable at our wedding. If you think you may need any mobility assistance, please CONTACT US (bride/groom) ahead of time. We will alert the venue coordinators and ensure your needs are met. Golf carts are available upon request to transport you between the unloading zone, forest ceremony site, and reception barn.

Question

What about my dietary restrictions?

Answer

Catering will be a buffet provided by Mama's Boy Catering company: https://www.mamasboyathens.com/catering-menus We will have Gluten Free items during both cocktail hour and the reception dinner buffet. However, if you have any other dietary restrictions/requirements, then PLEASE LET US KNOW IN ADANCE. Our wonderful caterer is willing to make separate dishes to accommodate any/all dietary restrictions (such as veganism), but they will need advanced warning in order to make this happen. Otherwise pretty much nothing on our menu will be vegan.

Question

What is the bar situation?

Answer

We will have an open bar of beer, wine, and selected liquors. Bartenders have been paid in advance, including gratuity. NO SHOTS will be permitted per our contract with the venue. Please drink responsibly! Per county law, one Officer from the local Sherriff's department will act as onsite security while the bar is open. Please plan ahead to get home safely. If you are unable to safely drive home at the end of the night, extra "glamping" tent lodging may be available on property at your own expense.

Question

Can I bring a "plus one" ?

Answer

We have indicated on your individual RSVP links whether or not you may bring a plus one. If your RSVP states both your name and "guest" then YES you can bring a plus one. If your RSVP states only your own name, then please kindly refrain from bringing extra mouths for us to feed. We are keeping a strict limit on our guest count in order to maintain a relatively intimate experience. If there is any uncertainty at all about who may or may not attend -- please CONTACT US (bride/groom) directly for an individualized answer.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No - although we love your little ones, this event is exclusive to ages 18 and older.

Question

What are the childcare options?

Answer

Unfortunately, our venue does not provide any childcare/daycare on site. You will need to arrange childcare at home beforehand. If you want to bring your kids to Atlanta and leave them with a local babysitter, please contact us (bride/groom) directly, and we'll send you a list of tailored recommendations.

Question

What is the transportation situation?

Answer

We anticipate that most guests will rent a car and drive to their respective lodgings. Unfortunately, there is no shuttle service offered between the hotel blocks and the venue. If you are unable to rent a vehicle for transportation, please contact us in advance (preferably several months in advance) to help set up a carpool plan with other guests. We will not have the ability to personally drive you to the venue, since we'll have our hands full with Wedding prep work.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please see the Travel section of this site for a few hotel options in the area. Hotel blocks will be reserved in advance at the Tru by Hilton and/or the Holiday Inn Express for a discounted price. Both of these are located in Greensboro, GA. Stay tuned for details!

Question

Can I stay at a cabin at The Corry House?

Answer
