Ramcedo NYE Wedding!

Marisol and John Anthony were matched on the dating app Coffee Meets Bagel. On their first date, John Anthony and Marisol quickly learned that they had many common connections. Their connections were their love of food, their appreciation for adventure/travel, and an acquaintance in Marisol’s dad being a client of John Anthony’s 🤣 Shortly after dating Marisol was accepted to NYU and a relocation to NYC was in view. John Anthony was excited to join Marisol on this adventure crossing the country and making an imprint on the Big Apple and exploring many East coast cities. Upon completion of Marisol’s MPH (Master of Public Health) John Anthony and Marisol returned back to California just before C-19 began to spread across the nation. Their time alone in NYC without family and close friends prepared them for a time where closely interacting with your significant other became a daily requirement. They continued to enjoy the company of one another even at that magnitude! If they could make it there, and through C-19, they could make it any where! While in NYC, Yorker, our mini Goldendoodle/fur-child joined our Ramcedo Adventures, and not long after R2, our mini Bernedoodle/fur-child added to the family fun! And the rest is history!

John Anthony’s love for surprises and fireworks spurred many years of happy tears and shock for many Marisol life events. When discussions around a potential wedding proposal were brought up Marisol asked for “no fireworks/surprises” to which John Anthony responded “Well then I guess you’ll need to propose to me.” Marisol replied with an “Okay!” So John Anthony waited… and waited… and waited! Until many months later John Anthony came up with a plan to have a ring ready to “Reverse Uno” any proposal Marisol may spring up. After waiting just long enough, John Anthony decided to plan a private dinner proposal, supported by a local restaurant staff. The plan was to go for a nice dinner in celebration of a recent life event worth dressing up for, so Marisol had no clue of the pending surprise John Anthony had planned! However, in the middle of dinner Marisol highlighted some recent life successes and celebrations and asked “Would you like to celebrate one more?” While showing a ring to John Anthony. (Yes, she proposed finally!) John Anthony shared that he loved the ring and asked that Marisol put it away to make sure his planned proposal still went off as he aimed to “Reverse Uno” the proposal. With a comped bottle of champagne on the line Marisol quickly put the ring away and they both enjoyed the evening talking about all the proposal plans. John Anthony later proposed to Marisol after their dinner with champagne (and a nice sparkler for the firework effect) The answer to both proposals was a resounding “Yes!”
