We met through longtime mutual friends from high school. It was admiration at first sight, quickly followed by making each other laugh and finishing one another’s sentences. Even then, we knew there was something special between us. For years, we enjoyed the natural development of our friendship, attending dinners, parties, and outings alongside our close friends. Throughout that time, it became evident that falling in love was inevitable. Because of each other, we came to believe that soulmates truly exist. We became best friends, caring for one another unconditionally and effortlessly.
