Our condo is right next to Lake Merritt, the "crown jewel" of Oakland. It's 3 miles around for a walk or run. There are always people hanging out and vendors around the lake. It's our favorite place in the world.

Spencer proposed to Raman at Joaquin Miller Park, which boasts redwood hikes and and panoramic views of San Francisco and Oakland. It's a beautiful natural escape that is well worth a visit.
