Our favorite place to take a hike! Widely known for their 18 hole frolf course. It's like Wii sports but you're actually outside doing it!
Downtown Saugatuck is a walkable area known for its boutiques, local art galleries, scenic waterfront, and delicious restaurants. Within the "Social District" hours, you can also grab a beer or glass of wine from a local spot and carry openly throughout the area. We especially love taking walks along the boardwalk by the marina, checking out the views, and reading all the fun boat names docked along the Kalamazoo River. Drew's go to restaurants: -Scooters: For pizza and burgers if you have a party of 10 and no reservation -Phil's Bar: For wings or other classic bar foods -Wally's: For broiled steak or meeting a wheelchaired millionaire with a dark past -Tree of Life: For nursing your hangover -Wick's Park: If you're into the yin and yang between family dining and rowdy bargoers -The Butler: If everywhere else is too busy and you've given up -The Sand Bar: Bridgeport and Boystown had a baby
Brewery with a wide selection of beers/wines and pizza. This bar participates in "Social District," so you can purchase a beer or a glass of wine to go or drink on their dog-friendly patio.
We highly recommend taking a quick trip up to Holland, Michigan — just about 20 minutes from Saugatuck — to experience their famous Tulip Time Festival! You’ll find beautiful displays of tulips across town, with several gardens and parks to explore. It’s the perfect way to enjoy a taste of spring in Michigan before or after the wedding!
