Just like everything else in the world, we came together online. Ralph was coming back to the dating scene after many years and I thought why not try this online dating thing. After several months of being online, I received a message from a profile I had liked a month or so before. The message read "How's your day going?" it was only 7 am. I replied, "Good so far, I woke up." This began a day of banter. We decided to meet that night and that was the beginning of our love story.
Ralph had the ring and I knew it. Although I wasn't sure when he would propose. I thought maybe on a family vacation, but I had no idea. One beautiful Saturday, I wanted to go to an outdoor market. Ralph decided we were going to a restaurant near there. We enjoyed a nice lunch and visited a few stores in the little town. It was the same day as one of our first all-day dates. When we returned to the car, Ralph took a while to put our purchases away. Next thing I knew he was standing very close staring at me. I asked what he was doing. His reply was, "We had a good day right?" I just looked at him confused this is not typically him. Ralph repeated his question. I responded with a yes. He then got down on one knee and said, it was a good day and he wanted the rest of his days to be good days and to spend them with me. Then, he asked if I would marry him. Of course, I said YES. It was a beautiful day.
