Caleb & Rakia first connected in July of 2020. Caleb decided to respond to a Facebook story of Rakia’s and from there the couple really enjoyed each other’s conversation and decided to meet up. It was definitely GODS timing because at the time Rakia was living in Los Angeles and just so happened to be in town for 2 weeks when Caleb reached out. The couple both agreed to meet each other at Show Me’s which was a wing restaurant in Fairview Heights. The couple had a great time during dinner and decided that they both wanted to continue to get to know one another despite Rakia heading back to LA. Over the next few months they spoke to one another every day. From phone calls to text Messages and staying up late on FaceTime watching movies every-night they both knew how strong and special their connection was. Eventually Rakia ended up moving back home and as you all may know the relationship continued to blossom as the couple fell deeply in love. By December 15 of 2020 Caleb asked for Rakia to be his girlfriend and of course she said yes! As the years passed the couple continued to hit milestones together. From moving in together, conceiving and having a handsome baby boy, getting engaged, and now married. Who knew a silly little Facebook message could lead to such a love like this?? Caleb and Rakia have been together now for over 5 years and forever more to go and are so grateful and blessed to have found one another. GOD truly did his big one when he brought these two together.
