We met on a night out in NYC through mutual friends. It took some time, but Sameet eventually won over Rakhi's heart.

Rakhi was scheduled to have an interview the morning of Oct. 20th - Sameet the innovator was able to convince Rakhi that his sister and brother in law were having an anniversary party in the evening. Rakhi thought that the day would consist of relaxing followed by the party. Little did she know... After her interview, Sameet took Rakhi to Cafe Panache an amazing restaurant in Ramsey, NJ. Sameet suggested they should go to a nearby winery before the party - Rakhi agreed and when they arrived at the vineyard, it was reserved specifically for them. Sameet then got on one knee and proposed! He then broke the news that there was no party in the evening but that he had one more surprise. They drove back into the city and Sameet planned a surprise dinner with both families at Junoon. Needless to say Rakhi was overwhelmed with emotion!
