Wedding Party

Meet our family and friends who are walking down the aisle with us!

Dikshika

Bridesmaid

Dikshika may be one of my cousins but in reality she was like the cool older sister I never had. Her closet was always there for the taking and she was the one to get me out of any trouble. From watching me practice cheerleading at 7 to teaching me how to drive at 16, proms, graduations, and everything in between, she’s been there for all of my milestones.

Neil

Groomsman

Neil is my brother and forever the favorite child, which I should’ve known when my parents shipped me off to India to make space for him. Growing up we did what normal siblings do; play sports, video games, and fight with each other and not much has changed today. Maybe they should’ve just left me in India.

Nimisha

Bridesmaid

Nimisha is another older cousin of mine, and if anyone wonders where my artsy fartsy side comes from here is the answer. She and her husband Chirag are the unofficial party committee of the family and they can probably give Pinterest a run for its money (with my help included of course). The duo has never failed to put a smile on my face with their countless banter and laughs.

Bhavesh

Groomsman

I met Bhavesh in high school when this random guy started showing up to our hangouts. He became one of my good friends despite the fact that he’s the weirdo who passionately HATES ketchup. Bhavesh considers his friends part of his family, even going as far as having me attend his cousin’s wedding in Europe.

Payal

Bridesmaid

Payal is my younger cousin but no one would guess that looking at our old pictures since our moms pretty much raised us like twins. Till this day, everyone still gets us matching outfits and we have just learned to accept that will always be. Growing up, we were constantly by each other's side and I can’t imagine my childhood being any other way.

Hiren

Groomsman

I first met Hiren as my brother's chauffeur. Which was surprising considering how lazy he is now to leave his house for anything. I have learned to never rely on this guy in an emergency when he is sleeping (seriously he could sleep through an apocalypse) but the few times you catch him awake he’ll be sure to be there for his friends.

Richa

Bridesmaid

Richa was my first official college friend. On the first day of freshmen fall semester while waiting in line for my very first class, it all started with the girl in front of me turning around and asking “Hey, is this the line for Bio 101?” …12 years later here we are. We’ve celebrated almost every birthday together since.. although 21 may have been a slight blur. Everyone knows if we are ever in the same room there's probably going to be a noise violation at some point, she’s the notorious other half of the rowdy & obnoxious duo.

Anish

Groomsman

Anish was in my math class in high school and had he remembered to bring his own pencil we would have never become friends. Who would have thought sharing pencils that day would eventually lead to us going to college together, where he was also just as unprepared and would copy my homework. Note to self, don’t share your pencil.

Swathi

Bridesmaid

I met Swathi freshman year at Rutgers and we would eventually go on to become roommates for the next three years. It was always us two left on campus for the weekends and so began the endless propositions to avoid actually doing any sort of school work, some of which included mediocre movie marathons, midnight car strolls with no destinations, or going down an infinite rabbit hole for pretty much every popular franchise in existence. Even though we’ve come a long way since being roommates, her couch has become my second home where we continue to avoid adulting with the same infamous propositions that started it all.

Moneil

Groomsman

Moenil has to be the quietest person I met in high school. In the beginning he was the hardest guy to get a conversation out of but I’d like to think after a decade of friendship I’ve broken him down. He’s one of the most genuine guys I know (once you get him to open up).

Anisha

Bridesmaid

I met Anisha my sophomore year at Rutgers. While she started off as the random girl who lived on our couch she quickly became one of my dearest friends. Whenever we are together you already know it’s gonna be an entertaining time ahead whether that be busting a move without a care in the middle of the dance floor or belching out nonsensical songs (cue Eyna- Who can say where the road goes…) Anisha has always treated her friends like family and made me feel a part of hers since day once.

Premal

Groomsman

Premal and I met in college when we used to party on his street every night (AKA P’s block). He understands my inner fob and I can always count on him to be there with me on opening night for any Bollywood movie.

Seju

Bridesmaid

Seju is one of my sorority sisters but to me her name will always be SejAL (I mean in the first 5 min of meeting she starts to explain her name in a joke "Say who? Seju!" and right then I decided I would not be parttaking) If you’re looking for the bubbly quirky girl in the room, it's her. She finds a way to mingle with ease and makes sure everyone feels included. Sejal always claims she's too old to keep up with the rest of us but low key she can hold it down better than anyone else. (Call back to Goon Squad-IYKYK)

Sagar

Groomsman

I met Sagar in college when he started dating my friend Anshu. You could say he is kind of the reason this wedding is happening, even though he was the one signing me up for dating apps while Anshu knew better. (Refer to “How we met”) He’s got the best dance moves which you’ll definitely see come out at this wedding.

Lima

Bridesmaid

Lima is another one of my sorority sisters and was my roommate senior year. After college it was clear that even though we no longer shared a roof, we were going to stay as close as ever with our endless brunch adventures and catchup dates. She knows how to keep it real with her Paterson accent and no nonsense party attitude that makes sure there's never a dull moment when she's around.

Anup

Groomsman

Anup is the reason I know half the people on this list. He and I became friends during gym class when we were both too lazy to jog, end up walking and would be the last to cross the finish line. In hindsight I guess we were each other’s consolation prize.

Amy

Bridesmaid

Amy and I had so many mutual friends for years before actually meeting (including her own brother!) that it’s a surprise it took us until after college to literally come face to face. She hands down has to be one of the funniest people I know. She’s always the girl surrounded by uncontrollable laughter, never taking life too seriously. Any night out with her is one to remember or unintentionally forget. Amy is always there when you need someone to listen and you can always count on her to lift anyone's spirits.

Devang

Groomsman

I met Devang in college through mutual friends. We both spent countless hours in the RCC room rather than in our actual classes. If you ever need anything to be built he is your guy. When Rajshri moves in and takes over my closet I hope he knows he will be building me another one.

Leyla

Bridesmaid

I met Leyla when she crashed one of Anisha’s birthday parties and while initially I may have thought, “Who is this random girl?”, it would take little to no time for us to become close friends. From countless summer adventures to binge filled winter hibernations, Leyla is always down for a good time. She is one of the most supportive people I know, always willing to jump through hoops to be there for a friend in need.

Harsh

Groomsman

I met Harsh at Hilltop which was the ultimate high school hang out spot. Undoubtedly he is the group secretary starting his calls at 8am to find out everyone’s plans for every second of every day. He will always go out of his way to make sure everyone’s having a good time.

Kavi

Groomsman

I met Kavi in college and he also happened to be one of Rajshri’s unofficial roommates. He is one of the most unintentionally comical guys and you’ll never get bored with his endless questions. If Hiren was Neil’s chauffeur, I was definitely Kavi’s because he hates driving. And with Uber prices surging, it’s no surprise he moved back to jersey.

Girish

Groomsman

I met Girish in college through my now sister in law. He is the calmest and most patient guy I know. You’ll never see him lose his temper, no matter how much chaos the rest of this group is causing. Please teach me your ways in preparation for a lifetime with Rajshri.

For all the days along the way
