Casual or Semi-Casual
This event is for out of town guests coming into town the night before. The main wedding events will commence on Friday.
7:00 pm - 11:00 pm
Kick off the start to the wedding and meet friends and family with a night of dancing, music and celebrations! Mehndi/henna artists will be available for anyone interested. We will end the night outside with the Jago (short procession outside), literally meaning to “wake up” the neighborhood and announce that the festivities have started! *If you are driving your own car for the weekend, parking is limited for this night. We suggest taking an Uber!*
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
The morning will start with a Baraat (groom’s procession) and the Milni (a short greeting of families outside). Light breakfast will be served. We will then proceed to the main hall for the Sikh wedding ceremony which will be followed by Langar (luncheon) outside.
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
Join us for this wedding ceremony based on our Tamil traditions and culture. It will be followed with a South Indian lunch served on banana leaves.
7:00 pm
Evening will commence with a cocktail hour followed by dinner, dancing and a great party!
