(The first ferry from the island in the morning is 6:00 AM, with a 6:20 AM pick up, you will arrive at the airport by approximately 7:30 AM.) Guests may not book airport arrivals online if people are not arriving on the same exact flight number and want to share a van. Guests must email us to inquire if this is possible (not recommended).

Travel for Non-US Citizens

Green Card holders (Lawful Permanent Residents) traveling to Mexico need a valid, unexpired passport from their country of origin and their physical Green Card (Form I-551). No photocopies. They are exempt from needing a Mexican visa for tourism and can stay for up to 180 days.

Getting to Isla Mujees

GETTING THERE Fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN). From the airport, guests can take a taxi, bus, or pre-arranged shuttle to the Ultramar Ferry Terminal located in Puerto Juárez (approximately 25–35 minutes). FERRY TO ISLA MUJERES Ferries to Isla Mujeres run frequently throughout the day and take approximately 15–20 minutes. Departure Port: Ultramar Ferry Terminal – Puerto Juárez Frequency: Every 30 minutes (during peak hours) Travel Time: 15–20 minutes Roundtrip Cost: ~$30 USD per adult (subject to change) Luggage: Allowed onboard Accessibility: Ferries are stable and accessible for older adults and those with mobility concerns ARRIVAL ON THE ISLAND Upon arrival, guests can take a short taxi ride to their hotel or rental property. The island is small and most rides take 5–10 minutes. EMERGENCY & MEDICAL There are several pharmacies and medical clinics on the island. For major medical needs, hospitals are available in Cancun, accessible by ferry.
