Smith Rock State Park
One of the natural wonders of Oregon, this pristine area in the centre of the state is well worth the trip, whether it's for a quick stop to look out from one of the great viewpoints near the park's entrance or to properly explore by heading down into the canyon for a hike. Raju and Saneet enjoy this hike multiple times a year!

Maragas Winery located in Culver won 11 awards at San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition. Another noteworthy winery nearby is Faith Hope & Charity vineyards.
Central Oregon Breweries
Many of the breweries within Bend take advantage of the town’s magnificent surroundings, offering plentiful outdoor seating and fire pits that allow consumers to sip while enjoying the views. With one brewery for every 4,500 people giving Bend the bragging rights for the most breweries per capita in the state of Oregon! Old Mill District
The Old Mill District has Bend restaurants, shopping, IMAX movie theater, outdoor concerts, bike trails, and the Deschutes River. The Deschutes River is one of the most spectacular rivers in the region. A great way to enjoy it is from a canoe, kayak, paddleboard or by floating. Rentals are available on-site through Tumalo Creek Kayak & Canoe.
Pilot Butte State Scenic Viewpoint
Pilot Butte is the biggest landmark in the city of Bend. This extinct cinder volcano is visible from almost everywhere in the city and its summit surpasses expectations with knock-out views of over Bend toward high desert landscapes and snowcapped Cascade Mountains. A must see for anyone visiting Bend, Oregon!
Cascade Lakes Highway
The Cascade Lakes are a series of 14 lakes set within the Cascade Mountain Range in Oregon. The drive takes you past the many shimmering alpine lakes, starting with Todd Lake, through pristine forest and incredible ancient volcanic landscapes, all the while surrounded by incredible mountain peaks. A great area to hike, paddle board, or enjoy lakeside on a day we don't have any wedding festivities.
