FAQs

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

If you're RSVP option says "and guest" then yes. If not we would prefer that it be just you.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes. We tried to count for every child in the RSVP section (meaning that if you have 3 children there will be 3 names or 3 "and child" slots) but if we missed a child please let us know.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. But please feel free to change into flats and take off your jackets and ties once the reception starts. Also, if you wish to wear Indian attire please do so.

Question

Will there be a shuttle between the church and venue?

Answer

At the moment no but please let us know if that is a concern/want of yours. If we get enough interest we can arrange something.

Question

Will there be vegetarian/gluten-free/vegan options?

Answer

Vegetarian and gluten-free yes. Not so much vegan. But please let us know in the RSVP section about any dietary concerns.

Question

Can I just attend the ceremony and not the reception?

Answer

Sure just please let us know.

Question

Can I attend the reception and not the ceremony?

Answer

We would rather you not but if there is a scheduling conflict please let us know.

Question

What about parking?

Answer

There is free street parking at the ceremony site and reception venue. I will admit that parking is limited at the venue.

Question

When can I post to social media?

Answer

We would prefer that no one posts pictures of us on social media until we are able to post our pictures, but feel free to post pictures of yourself.

Question

Can I buy something that is not on the registry?

Answer

Of course.

Question

Can I buy something that is on the registry but not from a store you are registered to?

Answer

We would prefer that you not just because the registry allows people to not get all the same gift. But if you find something at a better price, let us know and we'll remove it from the registry for you. If you want to surprise us please contact the matron of honor, Janae Rodney.
