We’re Getting Married!

In early 2018, we matched on a dating app called Dil Mil and that’s where it all started. It was very simple and sweet from the very beginning, and it was just very easy to conversate with each other. We shared a lot of common interests and had similar personalities. Our connection was undeniable and quickly progressed into the relationship we have today. When we started talking, Rajan lived in Toronto and Michelle was in Chicago. Although we lived miles apart, our connection and feelings stayed intact. In March, Michelle made the trip out to Toronto and spent 6 days really getting to know Rajan. From then onwards, we committed to spending at least 5 days together every month. By the summer, our relationship was well on its way and we had already started talking about a future together. At the end of it all, we always had one goal in mind - being together and eventually settling in Atlanta, Georgia. We knew we wanted to be together and had to talk to our families. It took some serious convicing, but both families agreed, and a few weeks later, Rajan popped the question! We were engaged and a couple weeks later, the entire family knew about it! In September, Rajan made the decision to leave everything behind and move to Chicago to be with the love of his life, and the rest was history. By October, we moved into our own place with Michelle’s friends and got court married. In December, we became a little family of 3 and brought home our puppy, Ace. Since then, we have been enjoying life together and began planning our wedding and our relocation to Atlanta!
