Dressy Casual / Outdoor Elegant: Comfortable, polished, and ready to celebrate outdoors. Wear something that feels like you - with a little extra flair if the mood strikes. For Men: Chinos or dress pants with a button-down; jackets and ties optional. For Women: Sundresses or summer gowns, cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or dressy separates. Non-binary & gender-nonconforming guests: Whatever makes you feel your shiniest. The ceremony (and dancing) will take place in a tent on a grassy field, please choose shoes made for grass and frolicking. (Stilettos may be tricky!)
The ceremony will begin at 4 PM on Saturday, June 6th. Both the ceremony and the reception will take place at Thatcher Woods Pavilion in River Forest, IL. Ceremony and dancing will be in the 'Little Big Top' circus tent adjacent to the Pavilion building. Dinner and refreshements will be in the Pavilion. Please refer to the Travel page for travel recommendations and lodging suggestions.
A bit of both! The ceremony and dancing will take place in the tent, while dinner, refreshments, and cake will be served inside the Pavilion.
We recommend using Uber, Lyft, or your favorite rideshare app to get to and from the venue. There is a parking lot available if you prefer to drive, but please note it is open to the public.
Due to limited space at the Pavilion, our celebration is primarily for adults, with a few special little ones invited. We appreciate your understanding!
