Kona is Kevin and Raisha's first (fur)daughter. She is about 5 years old, and was adopted into the family on May 30, 2022 from PGSPCA. Her hobbies include sleeping on the porch, barking out the window, burrowing under a blanket, and watching a quality Netflix nature documentary. To Raisha and Kevin, Kona is not just a dog. She is a companion who has brought immense light, love, and growth into their lives. The bond that they share as a family is unmatched, and continues to develop each day. Although Kona will not be attending the ceremony or reception, she will be making early appearances with the bridal party.

Meet Reena Nagar, the fabulous Matron of Honor and, more importantly, the brilliant sister/best friend combo to the bride, Raisha! These two are practically joined at the hip, and honestly, we're surprised they haven't started a "sisterhood goals" Instagram account yet considering Reena has already made an account for Kona, Raisha's dog. To Raisha, Reena isn't just a sister; she's a living, breathing embodiment of love, support, and the occasional makeup tutorial thrown in for good measure. Seriously, who else would you turn to for life advice and the perfect concealer brand when you have an unofficial twin that's better at it than you? But in all seriousness, their sisterly bond has weathered all of life's curveballs and plot twists, making them closer than ever. From stress baking through high school, to navigating the wild world of adulthood, they've done it all together. As Raisha's partner-in-crime and Matron of Honor, Raisha knows that this day wouldn't be the same without Reena by her side, and can't wait for people to get them mixed up on 8/18/2024. Just remember, Raisha will be the one in the white dress.

Katherine is the younger sister of Kevin. From the very beginning, Katherine has emanated kindness, warmth, and a genuine sense of welcome towards Raisha, treating her as if she were her own sister. Her unwavering love and support for the couple have been a constant presence, evident through her consistent devotion to their well-being. Currently residing in Burtonsville, MD, Katherine is happily married to Robbie Galvan and takes on the wonderful role of being a loving mom to Gabriel Galvan, Raisha and Kevin's adored first nephew!
Karishma Kelly

Karishma is Raisha's older cousin. As Raisha has grown older, Karishma has become more of a sister figure to her. Sharing so many similar outlooks on life, love, and family, Raisha feels lucky to have Karishma close by for advice, support, and company. Karishma and her husband Chris Kelly currently live in Alexandria, VA with Kona's favorite cousin, Piper Kelly (their dog), and their sweetest new edition to the family, Eliza!
Jehan Momin

Jehan is Raisha's incredibly intelligent, and beautiful younger cousin by 3 years. Growing up in the enchanting city of Harrisburg, PA, fifteen minutes apart from each other, their shared childhood was filled with cherished memories. Sleepovers, spirited games of hide-and-seek in the basement, dancing to Bollywood melodies in the living room, savoring ice cream after each meal, and nurturing a beloved furbaby whose memory forever lingers—these experiences intertwine their lives. Jehan, a vital influence in Raisha's personal growth, is regarded not only as a cousin but as a younger sister. Presently, Jehan and her loving husband, Nick Karagiannis, live in San Diego, CA, where Jehan is completing her residency in anesthesiology. They have recently welcomed their bundle of joy, Faye, in August 2023, and we're excited to be able to say that their family will be moving to Philly in 2024 where Jehan will be pursuing a fellowship in chronic pain management at UPenn! (I wasn't lying - shes really smart).

Nisha is Raisha's fabulous and fashion-forward cousin who's been a part of Raisha's life from the very beginning. Having grown up in Harrisburg, PA, Nisha, alongside her siblings, Jehan and Alim, made Raisha's childhood unforgettable. Together, they've splashed through summer days in their swimming pool, embarked on driveway adventures washing our dearly missed dog Simba, and explored every nook and cranny of the neighborhood on their trusty bikes. From the day they were born until they set off for college, each weekend was full of unforgettable shared moments and endless laughter. To Raisha, Nisha's always been more than a cousin; she's a little sister, confidante, and partner in all things mischievous. Today, Nisha calls the vibrant streets of New York home. Embarking on this incredible journey of marriage, Raisha couldn't imagine taking a single step without Nisha by her side. She's not just a bridesmaid; she's an integral part of Raisha's story and has played a huge role in becoming the person she is today.
Adina Klingman

Also known as 'Deenz' to Raisha, Adina is Raisha's best friend from their pharmacy school days at the University of Maryland Baltimore. From the moment they crossed paths in their first year of pharmacy school, Raisha knew she was a forever friend. Their friendship has transcended the highs and lows of pharmacy school, extending to support in relationships, career advice, and everything else in between. Raisha cherishes the knowledge that Adina will always be there, offering genuine, thoughtful advice whenever it is needed. Coming up, Adina is set to tie the knot with her fiancé, Gary Rose, in May 2024! This impending union is particularly exciting for Raisha, as Adina recently made the move from Florida to Delaware, now finding themselves back on the same coast - driving distance of each other! Raisha is over the moon that Adina is able to stand by her side on the big day as Adina has been there from Raisha and Kevin's very first date and has watched their relationship grow over the years.

Spencer is one of two groomsmen who has been friends with Kevin since 1st grade. Known as the Athlete of the group, any playing field that requires physical grit and competition is where you will find him. From basketball to football and martial arts to call of duty, Spencer excels in all things winning and losing. He is one of Kevin's best friends and close confidants. Together not only do they keep each other in check, but also have been each other's competitive progress bars of every aspect of life since day one. With his beautiful partner, Nina Zarei, together they tend a den of kittens in Gaithersburg, MD.
Jonathan Tran

Jon holds the title of Kevin's longest running roommate. From the start of pharmacy school through to the latter years post-graduation, Jon and Kevin had shared roommates in different parts of the Baltimore and surrounding areas. Together they've shared a ton of growth through cooking, eating, and adventuring through rollercoasters of hypothetical conversations. Although Jon now lives in California near his partner Fen and our nephew Scooby, it's important to Kevin and Raisha to hangout with them any chance possible.
Radd Guarin

Radd is that second groomsman who has known Kevin just as long as Spencer; actually even longer, circa preschool. Known as the Creative of the group, Radd has been musically inclined for nearly all of his life. His influence had led Kevin to learn piano and join elementary school band. Radd's skillset ranges from piano to saxophone, to every instrument of a garage band, and most recently DJ-ing/EDM production. He carries the weight of most of Kevin's childhood memories as his home was the main headquarters for driveway basketball, gaming, music, and just being.
Robbie Galvan
Groomsman
Robbie is Kevin's brother-in-law. Kathy and Robbie not only know us on the family level, but are also amazing guinea pigs at experiencing all of life's greatest events 3 years ahead of their time - i.e. house, wedding, baby. He is the owner and operator of his own cybersecurity business and father to the family's first grandson, Gabriel. Robbie is at the pulse of reminding Kevin of the centeredness of life; the calm between highs and lows, stresses and excitements. Thankfully, Robbie and them are an armlengths away in Laurel, MD where food trips and visits are comfortably common.
Dave Cruz

Dave is Kevin's next eldest cousin on his mother's side. Probably the first person outside of immediate family to witness Kevin eating lumpia and pancit for the first time. Dave is a firefighter that lives with family in Ontario, CA. Because of the distance the visits are infrequent, but there is a deep-seated bond forged by our mothers' prayers years before our births that keeps our relationship familiar and strong, regardless of the upkeep.
Chris Kelly
Officiant
Chris is Karishma's husband and father to our nieces, Eliza and Piper. In selecting an officiant, Raisha and Kevin wanted somebody who can wholesomely declare the love between the bride and groom with tact and familiarity. Chris has known the couple for as long as they have been together and is very much present in each others' life events and happenings along the way. As a freshly minted officiant, Raisha and Kevin are excited to present Chris as their first-round pick and are overjoyed with sharing the stage with the genuine individual that will tie our families together.
