FAQs

Question

Where can I get the most up-to-date information about Rainey and Nick's wedding?

Answer

You are in the perfect spot! This website gets updated often. If a guest has a question, Rainey and Nick may have already answered it here on the FAQ page. I swear they think of everything! Keep this website handy. :)

Question

What is the dress code for this event?

Answer

The dress code for this event is Semi-Formal/Beach Chic. The ceremony will be on the sand - the reception will be indoors. One good option would be a button-down shirt with dress pants (chinos or linen for breathability). Some other options could be a blouse and skirt, long flowy dresses, or an elegant jumpsuit. NO SOLID WHITE DRESSES (besides Rainey's) For your comfortability: Opt for breathable materials to stay cool. Avoid stilettos. Choose wedges, chunky heels, block heels, or trendy sandals that won't sink into the sand. Men can wear loafers, boat shoes, or even nice sandals. Feel free to take off your shoes for the ceremony. Feel free to bring sunglasses, a stylish hat, and perhaps a wrap or blazer, as coastal areas can get windy or chilly in the evening.

Question

Parking?

Answer

We are working on a wonderful solution. Check back again closer to the wedding for an accurate answer.

Question

How do I RSVP to the wedding?

Answer

Click on the RSVP tab at the top of this page. It is just to the right of this tab (FAQ tab). Type in your name and your reservation should come up. Then respond whether or not you will be attending. This makes for the most accurate number of guests as the event comes closer.

Question

Do I have to RSVP if I am not attending?

Answer

Great question! Yes. If you know that you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible by filling out the RSVP page. We will miss you, but understand if something keeps you from celebrating with us.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

There are no plus ones at this wedding. When you type in your name to the RSVP page, we have accounted for all the guests that we plan on celebrating with. Please do not ask to bring anyone else. (Check the RSVP page to see if their name pops up under your party)

Question

Can I bring my baby or child?

Answer

No, there will only be the little ones that are "working" the event. We have some ring-bearers and flower children. But other than that, there will not be any children or babies at the wedding, unfortunately.

Question

What is in my invitation box?

Answer

This is for my in-state guests. (even if you did not get the box, just know all of our invitations were compiled with lots of thought and love). The little mason jars have dried fruit and nuts. There are cashews, mango, and pistachios.

Question

When can I take pictures?

Answer

We have hired two photographers and a videographer for both the ceremony and the reception. We ask that you stay in the moment and have all electronics turned off for our ceremony. We do not want any interruptions and we want to make sure that there are no stray arms floating around with an electronic tablet or phone at the end of it that may block our hired professionals from the perfect view. When we move inside for the reception, we will have some QR codes for you to scan and you will be able to take some candid moments from inside the reception hall that will all be sent to us and you guests will be able to see as well the next day. Nothing too scandalous in those please since the entire guest list will have access to those.
