We're getting married!

I was waiting tables at a local vegetarian cafe in town, when he walked in and took my breath away. After he left, I went to clean off his table and when I picked up the receipt I saw he had written: "You are glowing." We had a special connection immediately.

We were on vacation in Vieques, PR, where Raine had lived for quite a while, celebrating her birthday. On our second day there, John woke me up at 7am saying we needed to get up. We had no agenda, so I thought this was very odd. I sat outside the casita drinking my coffee just enjoying being back on the island, but John couldn't sit still. He was pacing, back and forth, going inside the casita, and then immediately coming back out, over and over. I was seriously confused. But I just sipped my coffee and chuckled. And then it happened. He came outside, got down on one knee, and told me the exact reason why he brought me back to my favorite little island, to ask me to be his wife. And I said yes!
