Believe it or not, we actually "dated" in middle school. It's crazy and funny to think of our younger years compared to now with how far we have come. Our sophomore year of high school we dated and eventually went separate ways through the rest of high school. Deep down we both knew we were with the right person at all the wrong times. After 3 years apart with a lot of growing up we rekindled in January of 2019. No matter what, it seemed that we would be together somehow some way; when it comes down to it, we have always been inseparable. We made it official on May 16, 2019, while on a road trip to Arizona and California with our friends.

We got engaged in Dallas, Texas on January, 22, 2022. Bailey got the ring around Christmas time and struggled immensely to keep a secret. Evidently, the plan was to come back home to get engaged, but once Cort gave his blessing, Bailey couldn't wait any longer. In the months before, Bailey thought that "fake proposing" would be a fun game. Railey always got flustered and told him every time that the day he decided to actually do it that she would end up telling him to get up and knock it off. On the day he proposed, we went to brunch with family. Little did Railey know, the proposal that day would not be a joke. Bailey rehearsed proposing at least a thousand times, but when he finally popped the question he nailed about 10% of the rehearsal. The biggest and happiest "Yes" was celebrated over mimosas with family and celebratory FaceTimes and calls from home.
