FAQs

Question

Is the entire wedding three days long?

Answer

Yes. The wedding events will span from May 27, 2026 - May 29, 2026. However, the 27th and 28th are invite only - please refer to the details on your formal invitation for clarification.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The Hindu ceremony will be conducted outdoors, while the Christian ceremony will take place indoors—both at the same venue. A covered outdoor area will host the cocktail hour, followed by an elegant indoor reception.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplgged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do." We have hired an amazing team to capture this moment for us and will share them as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos you'd like!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Absolutely! We will be serving, beer, wine, two speciality cocktails and non alcoholic beverages.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are so excited to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! As much as it is available to you, please feel free to wear Desi (Indian) clothes or Western if you are more comfortable. The official dress code for all events is semi-formal required, formal preferred. Ladies, please stay away from wearing red or white as we will be having a fusion ceremony and these are traditional bridal colors for each ceremony.

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

We will miss you! Please RSVP by the deadline "Will Not Attend." If you have already RSVP'd attending, but find you will not make it, please notify Rahni at (361) 935-4468.

Question

Are children allowed?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of children who are invited. However, we encourage you to use this event as a "night out" for yourself if you'd like. :)

Question

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

We are working on hotel blocks as we speak. Please complete the survey in the "Travel" section to help us gauge interest in different options.

Question

How do we get there?

Answer

Villa Antonia has a designated parking area that can accommodate a limited number of vehicles. If it is your plan to drive to the ceremony, please arrive early to ensure parking space. There will be a parking attendant available to aid in this. Additionally, we encourage you to use Uber/Lyft as needed or if you may find it more challenging to drive in a more rugged, hilly terrain.

Question

What time should we arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The Hindu ceremony will begin at 11:00am, so please arrive by 10:45am and find your seats promptly. The Christian ceremony will begin at 6:00pm, so please arrive by 5:45pm. Please refer to the "Schedule" section for more specific details on the timings of all events and reach out with an questions. Please note that these timings are subject to change as the date approaches.
