McCarran International Airport

McCarran is only 10 minutes from the Strip and 20 minutes from Downtown/ Fremont street. In our experience it has been easier and cheaper to coordinate a ride with Uber or Lyft for your rides to and from the airport rather than a taxi/shuttle service.

The Deuce

Looking at a map, the strip and downtown both seem like everything is very close walking distance to each other, but don't be fooled! The hotels are massive which makes the walks from one to the other deceivingly long. If you feel you might get tired of walking throughout your trip, rather than doing taxis or ride shares, we recommend the Deuce! The Deuce is the bus shuttle service that services the entire strip and downtown. There is the Deuce which stops at every hotel runs 24/7 and the Express which only stops at requested stops and runs from 8 AM to midnight every day. This system is very accessible and easy to manage. The ticket options are are $6/2 hours, $8/day, or $20/3 days. There are multiple kiosks around the strip and downtown to buy your tickets throughout your trip. We have found this to be the most cost efficient and simplest way to travel throughout Las Vegas!
