Santa Rosa Valley (not Santa Rosa!) is a small town nestled in the hills. It is roughly equidistant from Thousand Oaks, Camarillo, and Moorpark (listed in order of decreasing bougie-ness and relative expense). A bit farther out, we have Oxnard, which has a mixture of nice and rough areas (as well as many of our favorite taco spots!). Beyond that, Ventura is perhaps our favorite city to visit: on the coast, chock full of delicious food, and exceptionally cute.
For our distant travelers, we recommend Burbank Airport. LAX is far and frankly a nightmare to leave (although should you find yourself forced to run the gauntlet, you have a good excuse to visit the nearby Boy and the Bear coffee, Ginger's ice cream, or any number of excellent restaurants in the area).
We do not have preferred hotels for our wedding. We have listed a couple of hotels for your convenience, but of course Airbnb is another great option!
