Who knew the biggest love story of our lives would start just a few steps away- in Sarah’s parents’ backyard? On April 6, 2024, thanks to our parents being neighbors and friends, we officially met. A week later, we went on our first date (at Top Golf for anyone who is curious), and the rest is history. Not long after, our families started getting together for game nights filled with bingo, dominoes, and plenty of laughs. Those evenings became a tradition—and gave us the perfect excuse to keep spending more time together (not that we needed one). On August 21, 2025, Cody proposed at our favorite place: the Cleveland Heights Golf Course. We go nearly every Saturday and despite the unexpected massive thunder storm that was quickly coming our way that morning and getting stuck behind a large group getting golf lessons, we finally got to hole #4 on the C course (our favorite) and Cody proposed in the most beautiful, quiet, and peaceful spot right by the water. Our ceremony will be held at Black Swan Venue in Lakeland, FL. on 6/20/26 at 4:30 PM. The ceremony should end around 5 and after a short break to reset the room, the reception will follow at the same location until 10 PM.
