Dance the night away with friends and cousins on both bride and groom's sides!
10:00 am - 1:00 pm
An Indian bride takes part in a Mehendi ceremony, during which she and her female family members and friends gather for henna. Mehendi artists create intricate designs on the hands or feet of the bride and her friends and family, using a paste of dried ground henna leaves. The henna is believed to ward off evil, promote fertility, and attract good energy for the soon-to-be wedded couple.
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Sangeet is a chance for relatives and friends of both the bride and the groom to get together. We will dance, sing, and interact with each other.
9:00 am - 11:00 am
Bride and groom are covered in a paste prepared with turmeric (Haldi), sandalwood, and curd before a ceremonial bath. Turmeric has been popular for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties and also holds a special place and significance in Hindu weddings.
