Dear friends and family, Due to the current Coronavirus situation, our venue has notified us that they will comply with county ordinances and cancel all planned events through June. We regret to inform you that because of this, along with our concerns for our guests' health and safety, our reception in Mission Viejo on June 27th is hereby canceled. Our venue and vendors do not have an estimate of when they will reopen or how availability will look like for this year and the next, which makes postponement in the near future not possible at this time. Both of us, along with our parents, are devastated over this turn of events as we had been hopeful over the past few months to celebrate with you this year. We sincerely apologize for any canceled trips or rearranging plans due to our change in events, and please let us know if we can help in any way. A 9 year-old girl and 10 year-old boy met for the first time at a family friend's birthday party. Little did they know that their friendship would continue to grow through years of group hangouts, Harry Potter inside jokes, and pen-pal correspondence via Myspace, e-mail, and their favorite, AOL Instant Messenger. As they continued to live separate lives in Los Angeles and Seattle, they eventually lost contact aside from the occasional "like" on Instagram or Happy Birthday wish on Facebook. One day in June 2018 - 15 years after they first met - Raghav rekindled the friendship with a friendly "how's it going?" message to Gayathri and the rest, as they say, is history!
