We will have several guests in attendance who are immunocompromised (but vaccinated!) and we do not take the issue lightly. We also believe the vaccines work in preventing serious illness. Please consider your own personal comfort level with risk and if you are feeling ill, also please reconsider your attendance. We won't be offended! Masks are up to individual comfort level and vaccination history. We encourage you to talk to Ben or Melissa if you have any questions or concerns.
We know it's late notice, but please try to RSVP ASAP, especially since we're having two events. We will also have a seated dinner service at the Ohio reception so we want to make sure you get the food you want!
Of course! If you want to and have the ability to come to both, we would love to have you! Just make sure that you RSVP accordingly.
We're not expecting ball gowns or specific attire. We'll just say semi-formal or dressy casual! For the Ohio ceremony and reception, the ceremony will be outside (weather permitting) and the reception will be inside, so dress flexibly! The ground might also be soft at the ceremony, so consider that before wearing stilettos :) The Texas reception will be indoor with an outdoor patio option (but trying to predict what the weather will be like in Texas in November is almost impossible!).
We're working on that! We would love for everyone to be able to *enjoy themselves* and also be safe!
Absolutely - both events will be kid-friendly! Melissa's nieces and nephews are in the ceremony and are ages 3-8 - they'd love to have some kiddos their size on the dance floor! But if you'd rather leave your kiddos at home and have a kidless night out, we don't blame you! If you do bring your kiddos just please let us know in advance and if they need any special accommodations.
