Robert: I had recently moved to Princeton for my new job and was looking to meet people in the area. Kathleen: I had just graduated college and thought I would give this dating thing a try after hearing my sister tell me about "Coffee Meets Bagel". Being the shy girl I am, I didn't think I could start dating any other way. Robert: I immediately thought Kathleen was cute when I saw her profile. She had a great smile and I could just tell she was a fun person to be with. Kathleen: He messaged me right after the 4th of July holiday. We had both spent the weekend with our families in Pennsylvania and were looking for someone to spend the rest of the summer with. Robert: After about a week of talking, it was apparent that we had so much in common. We both loved spending time outside, spending time with family, being in warm weather, and eating ice cream. I asked her out to to a brewpub called Triumph, a local favorite and she said yes to the date! After our first date together I thought to myself "this could turn into something really special." Kathleen: He didn't hold my hand on that first date, but we did walk around Princeton for 3 hours. I'm happy to say we have been holding each other's hand ever since and loving every second of it!
