Minnewaska State Park
This 21,106-acre preserve located on the Shawangunk Ridge is only a ten minute drive away from our venue. The park features waterfalls, sky lakes, hardwood forests, sheer cliffs and truly amazing views. Visitors can enjoy hiking, biking, swimming, picnicking, scuba-diving, rock-climbing, bouldering, boating and more. We highly recommend at least going up to the first scenic lookout.
Mohonk Preserve
Our venue is right at the foot of the Shawangunk Mountains—which include this nature reserve with 75 mi. of carriage trails, cliffs, fields & forests. Mohonk Preserve is also one of the best climbing and bouldering destinations on the east coast.

Our favorite modern art museum outside of the city, and well worth the drive. Make sure not to miss the Richard Serra exhibition downstairs.
Storm King Art Center
Be outside and look at art at the same time! What more could you want?

There are a number of drive-in movie theaters nearby; this one is the closest.
