Our love story goes back to 2009, our freshman year of college at San Jose State University. Where a city girl met a country boy in room 306 of Joe West Hall through a mutual acquaintance, Rafael’s roommate. Our friendship blossomed from the start. We were inseparable, we were practically roommates. On November 30, 2009, Rafael asked Susana to be his girlfriend, come Valentine's Day 2010, Rafael cemented their relationship with a promise ring “through thick and thin”, he promised . Fast forward through 11 years of unbelievable memories, here we are true to our promise that we made to each other, “when we were both ready we would marry”.
