We're getting married!

One Friday night Rafa and I decided to go to Boot Barn then dinner afterwards. He came to pick me up but said my little brother, Sean, needed him to take him to the store first. So I said “okay cool I’ll go with y’all and they both said “NO stay here”. I did not like that, but I stayed and waited for what seemed like FOREVER for them to get back. Finally Rafa comes back for me and we head to Boot Barn. We finally leave Boot Barn and got something to eat. We park and eat in the truck and take off driving. Rafa pulls into this empty lot and sets up his phone on the dash and says “come on let’s make a video of us dancing in the street”. We get out and he puts his phone to record and the song starts playing “Mi Tesoro” by Ramón Ayala. He KNEW my little Tejano heart loves that song! As we were dancing he gives me a little push back to stop the dance and reaches for his pocket and gets down on one knee. He says “Krystal Ann De Leon will you marry me?” I cried and hugged him so tight and said “THANK YOU” still hugging him he asks “so will you?” I said “OMG Of course yes yes yes” I was so overcome with excitement and totally surprised. Turns out, he took Sean with him to pick up the ring and used the “store” excuse as a distraction! ( I truly have the best brother a girl could ask for) I feel like the luckiest girl alive to be marrying such a thoughtful, sweet and loving man! We are filled with excitement as our two year engagement is coming to an end. We cannot wait to celebrate our big day with you all!
