Dos caminos se cruzaron, dos corazones dijeron sí…

Él en Indiana, ella en Texas. Dos mundos distintos, dos caminos lejanos, y solo un punto en común: Dios mismo. No sabemos si llamarlo casualidad o destino, pero el 23 de diciembre de 2024, Dios llevó a Rafa hasta Texas, donde, sin buscarlo, conoció a Esmer. Aquella noche algo cambió en ambos corazones; fue como un susurro divino que los hizo conectar. El tiempo pasó, y aunque parecían haberse perdido, Rafa dio un paso de fe: llamó al padre de Esmer para pedirle permiso de platicar con ella, no como desconocidos, sino como amigos. Así comenzó una historia que pronto se convertiría en amor verdadero. Entre viajes de regreso al colegio y visitas en vacaciones, su vínculo se hizo más fuerte. Durante el spring break, Rafa le pidió a Esmer que fuera su novia; en verano, volvió decidido, no solo a visitarla, sino a quedarse y a construir un futuro con la mujer que ama. Y fue así que, el 13 de septiembre, Rafa se arrodilló y le pidió a Esmer que fuera su esposa. Hoy, cuentan los días con ilusión y gratitud, esperando el momento de decir juntos: ‘Sí, acepto’.

Thus began a story that would soon become true love. Between trips back to school and vacation visits, their bond became stronger. During the spring break, Rafa asked Esmer to be his girlfriend; in summer, he returned determined, not only to visit her, but to stay and build a future with the woman he loves. And so, on September 13th, Rafa knelt down and asked Esmer to be his wife. Today, they count the days with enthusiasm and gratitude, waiting for the moment to say together: 'Yes, I accept'.
