RaeShay saw Kodi before she ever met him. Scrolling… watching… curious… lowkey obsessed. “Who is that?” she asked. And just like that, a name entered her life— “Kash the Paper Boi.” What she didn’t know then… was that the man behind the name would one day become her husband. On the other side, Kodi remembers something different. Not the screen… but the presence. A quiet girl. Shy. Reserved. The kind of woman you had to approach with intention. But there was something about her. Something different. Something worth pursuing. And so it began… Not as lovers—but as friends. Life, however, had its own plans. They went their separate ways. Years passed. Different relationships. Different struggles. Different cities. Different lives. But somehow… No matter how much time passed. No matter how far life pulled them apart… They always found their way back to each other. A random call. A message out the blue. A conversation that felt like no time had passed at all. Like they were always connected… even when they weren’t together. RaeShay would say: “If I ever had a male best friend… it would be Kodi.” And Kodi? He didn’t realize it yet. But she was already the one. Then came life’s hardest seasons. Moments when everything felt uncertain. Moments when support was needed the most. And in those moments… When Kodi looked around. Long FaceTimes turned into all-day conversations. Days turned into nights. Nights turned into a routine. They weren’t just catching up anymore…They were building something. But RaeShay wasn’t easily convinced. She loved him. She trusted him as a friend. But being a husband? That had to be proven. And Kodi accepted that challenge. Kodi walked into New Birth Primitive Baptist Church located in Fort Pierce FL he didn’t just visit he stayed Because love will not change you. But purpose will transform you. And slowly, the man she once questioned…Became the man she prayed for. Then one day, without her expecting it In front of family… In front of church… Kodi got down on one knee. And RaeShay said…Yes. And not because everything had always been perfect…But because through everything—She knew one thing for sure: This man loved her. For real. For who she is. Flaws and all. And Kodi? He finally understood what God had been showing him all along. That the woman who was always there… Was never just a friend. She was his wife. So on June 27th 2026 There won’t just be a wedding.
