Raemona and Glenmore’s journey began in 2013 at Original Virgin Canopy Tours (OVCT), though neither of them could have imagined just how meaningful that chapter would become. In December 2013, Raemona started as an intern while also volunteering as a server on Peter Island. Her dedication, warmth, and natural ability to connect with people quickly stood out, and she was soon offered a full-time role as a Guest Services Agent. Just one month later, Glenmore joined the team in the very same position—completely unaware that he had just stepped into a story that would change both of their lives. From the beginning, their connection was undeniable. They became known for their friendly workplace competitions—whether it was performance, attendance, or simply who could go above and beyond for guests. But beyond the competition, there was always care. Raemona once stitched Glenmore’s pants after an unexpected mishap, while Glenmore made sure every workday was filled with laughter, keeping her on her toes with conversations about life and relationships. When his birthday came around, Raemona made sure it didn’t go unnoticed, organizing last-minute cupcakes so the whole team could celebrate together. Somewhere between the laughter, teamwork, and everyday moments, a strong friendship formed—one that would stand the test of time. Years later, Hurricane Irma changed everything. Its destruction led Glenmore to move to Michigan, where he continued his journey with AHC. There, he grew both professionally and personally, gaining valuable experience and becoming a cherished part of his new community and AHC family. Despite the distance, their bond never faded. Raemona and Glenmore stayed close through long phone calls and countless hours of gaming—especially during the pandemic, when the world slowed down but their connection only deepened. What began as coworkers turned into best friends, and over time, something even more meaningful began to grow… In 2021, Raemona and Glenmore’s friendship blossomed into something they never imagined. What had always been a strong bond slowly deepened as they discovered a mutual affection for one another. Conversations that once revolved around daily life and laughter began to take on new meaning—more intentional, more vulnerable, and filled with curiosity about what could be. As they opened their hearts, their connection naturally evolved into something deeper. Long talks turned into meaningful moments, and before long, those three words—“I love you”—were shared, marking the beginning of a new chapter. From there, their journey together grew stronger with every passing day. Determined to nurture their relationship despite the distance, they traveled back and forth between Michigan and the Virgin Islands, cherishing every moment spent together and building a love rooted in friendship, trust, and unwavering support. In December 2023, during one of those special moments in Michigan, Glenmore asked Raemona to spend forever with him—and she said yes. Love soon led Glenmore back home to the British Virgin Islands, where he reunited with Raemona, not just as best friends, but as partners in life. Together, they created a home filled with love, laughter, and family—raising their beautiful girls, Nickoiia and Raina. It hasn’t always been easy, but through every challenge, their love has remained their foundation, growing stronger with each passing day.
