Raelyn was preparing to host a dear friend, Rachel, who was coming to visit her in Kenya. She knew safari was a must and hired Conway's Africa to take them to Samburu, of which Micah was originally supposed guide in May 2020. Then COVID happened. After a slight postponement, Andrew ended up guiding the the ladies in May 2021. From there, Raelyn and Andrew became friends, then good friends, then very good friends. By July 2023, they realized that their friendship had turned into love long ago.
