Summarizing a decade of memories, adventures, and emotions is not easy, especially when the story isn’t perfect but is nonetheless my favorite because Miguel is the one I share it with. Expressing the depth of love and gratitude I feel for my best friend feels nearly impossible, but I’ll try my best. I met Miguel Angel in 2012, but it wasn’t until 2014 that we officially became boyfriend & girlfriend. God works in the most beautiful ways and I know he sent Miguel into my life in 2014 to become my guardian angel and my saving grace. At that point, I was struggling with severe depression and bulimia, yet Miguel accepted and loved me unconditionally. Where I saw imperfection, he only saw the absolute best. How incredibly fortunate am I to have found a man who loves me, accepts me, and continually lifts me up, making me a better person. Over the course of our 10-year relationship, we’ve been blessed to witness each other’s growth, travel together, celebrate holidays, and support one another through all of life's trial and tribulations. Looking back on our years together brings the biggest smile to my face, knowing that with God’s love and grace, we’ve come this far. I’m honored to be marrying the man of my dreams—my best friend, my home, my safe place, my peace—on August 24, 2024.
