A Couple of Forevers

Let's take it way back to 2006-2008, where Ty and Rae were classmates at West Baltimore Middle School (Rock). It went from a little crush to soulmates. See back then Ty would joke with friends about Rae's hair but we all knew what that meant LOL! Time went on and Ty and Rae became adults experiencing this thing called life. Now, let's fast forward to October 21, 2023. Ty was on his way to the game and made a quick stop at Aldi's Grocery store, where he noticed his old classmate Rae. He approached her and they started reminiscing about the old days. Ty ended the conversation with have a blessed day and they parted ways BUT little did he know Rae was thinking to herself " Dang he didn't even ask me for my number". A few days went pass and Ty was thinking to himself "Why didn't I get her number". So he decided to find her on Facebook. In the beginning, he was not having any luck but then he found Rae's page through a mutual friend's page. On October 28, 2023, he sent her a message trying to catch her attention. Rae did not respond until days later due to her failed relationships in the past. Her niece Aprintess (Bridesmaid) convinced her to give it another shot....let's just say that was one of the best decisions of her life! He respectful asked if she was single and was interested in going to dinner. Of course she accepted. From that day forward, Ty and Rae had daily conversations getting to know one another. Moving along to November 5, 2023, Ty took Rae to Sake Japanese Restaurant, where the vibes were unmatched. They lady sitting across from them even noticed. She made a statement saying "Girl I know you are going to hold on to your man" which made both of them blush. But little did she know this was their first date and she predicted their future. The night came to an end and Ty asked Rae if she would bring in his 30th birthday with him November 10th and she said yes. You ever heard of that famous line "You can meet someone tomorrow who has better intentions for you, than someone you have known for years. Time means nothing, character does." Well this was most definitely the case. Ty was very attentive to Rae's wants and needs and showed her what a real man is. Rae showed Ty that there are still good women out here who will love unconditionally. Ty once told Rae "I got your back" and Rae responded with "And I will forever have your front". Ty expressed that no one has ever said anything like that to him and he knew from that day that Rae was the one. Months went past and Ty decided to ask Rae's father permission to marry his baby girl. Ty was shocked by the response Mr. Ray had given him. Mr. Ray responded with "H*** yeah, I was waiting on you"! From there, Ty brought the engagement ring and spoke with family and friends to help make the big day go as smooth as possible. On May 12, 2024, Rae thought she was planning a Mother's day cookout to with families and friends, but what she didn't know was that day would change her life. Everyone was having a great time and closer to the end of the cookout, Ty popped the big question with a song/rap that he wrote just for Rae......Rae said YES!
